Naomi, I have been watching you on the news and have heard all about your DWI, your arrest.  I couldnt help but notice your apology to your peers and the constituency.   Your embarrassment was also very public and sincere.

As bad as it sounds ..... the real problem is the fact that your personal problems have managed to hinder and impede any legislative influence you might have been able to wield.  In other words you are the mother and we your children and regardless of what happens to you, your first priority should be the people that elected you.

I know the republicans over there are thrilled that this happened to you and may have even put a little something in your drink.  Im sure by now you know you never put your drink down, and if you do, you get another one, and if you fall for the perfect stranger getting you a drink .... nough said.  You are in the war zone and can become a casualty.  The first rule is to always have a friend with you.  So fire your staff ..... it is their job to make sure that things like this dont happen.

You dont need to apologize, I could care less.  Dont do it again and get to work.  Your letter is self deprecating and full of excuses.  The old saying is, "Ive never met a man good at making excuses thats good at doing anything else".  Dont ever be ashamed of who you are! We all make mistakes.

For instance, you are a silver fox .....  this fact alone sets you a breed apart from the rest.  We gather once a month for breakfast, those of us still alive, and  have this one commonality, La Jeff.    You are a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake, this is holy ground, god has already given you all the help you deserve and now it is time for you to help him.  

You are a JD .... doctor of jurisprudence, so pay back your student loans and give some scholarships.  Dont ever say you are poor and come from a poor home ...... nobody cares.  Successful people are futuristic in their thinking.  Remember people are fickle, one Oh Shit, will cancel 1000 atta boys.
