The furloughs will begin soon, it has been reduced from the original number to something like 14, so those civil servants are union and protesting. Apparently the lower ranks, the riff raff, are going to be allowed to claim unemployment. So now we pay them for doing nothing. I dont know the numbers, dont seem to add up, its like day-light-savings time. Any ways we are talking civilians here.
Korea, well we just couldnt leave crazy alone ..... We had to go over there and flex our muscles. Now we have to flex more than just muscles ..... we have just sent our first artillery unit. They should be flying over there this weekend. BTW it is a missile battery. I have no idea how much this war will cost, but I know it wasnt in our budget. I mean there will be hell to pay. Its a one million man Army .... Im so glad they decided to let you gals go combat arms. And for the love of god make sure you wear the appropriate gear....it gets so damn cold in Korea, we actually have pictures of our soldiers frozen to the machine guns, lots of frost bite.
The movie Olympus Down with Samuel Jackson, Gerrard Butler, was released just in time for the fireworks. What pisses me off is that GB the australian played the hero and he is here on a visa. The traitor was played by an American. I bet they are already burning copies. I think we should send Tiger over there to negotiate, I mean, he is Korean.
Locally things seem to be going to hell. The school board fire some four principles and as many assistants for cheating. The feds are going to pick them up and put them in jail ..... because the were running a scam to increase the federal dollar intake, money that belongs to the us taxpayers. What they were not doing was educating the students.
The kids and parents showed up and demanded they be reinstated, because they didnt care if they had sinned. I would have arrested the parents for not bothering to get a permit, and I would have suspended the kids for cutting school. The school board did reinstate them so now the district will probably end up in court and up go our property taxes.
Children were made to be seen and not heard, they have no rights. They can ask the courts to be emancipated ..... and then they can do as they please. We have already lost our ass! We give the little darlings free education and they spit in our faces. Now some of those people are in jail and we are paying for them. The School Board is worthless esp that Castanon Williams. We are talking about a city where the average education is 9.5 years. A city where the GED is given in Spanish.
The El Paso Police ..... those union guys, lost their retirement in the market, so the city gave them another 120 million, up go our taxes.
The local church people had a meeting and the elected officials attended. They were asked about their morals, views. Well so much for the constitution, did I mention they average 9.5 years of education ..... these types dont read.
The Texas Tech Medical School is now asking for 120 million for their hospital. We cant afford these SOBs we should run them out of town. They want to open clinics in the poor areas of town, so the illegals dont go to the ER. La Fe already has a bunch of clinics, and they used those millions they got from the tobacco law suit for this.
Construction has begun on the new Baseball field, they are knocking down our relatively new city hall, and have spread the city government all over town.
I dont think they really looked at the problem. The field will be build on solid rock, the end of the rockies, so they will have to anchor it, otherwise it will slowly go down hill. Then they will have to put in astroturf. They cant use grass because we dont have water, we are in the middle of a drought.
Because of the drought, I can only water three days a week at certain hours. But the city wont stop expanding, and they enjoy building big golf courses, and big baseball fields. Big soccer fields. The one at community is always nice and green, those golf courses are always getting water, they are exempt from any restrictions.
Why we give primacy to a bunch of wanna-be baseball stars is beyond me.
