Education

Education must really b important otherwise they would not have mentioned it so often in th dbate.  But education is an xpense n so is healthcare.  It is a long term investment .... something like 16 years bfore th government can see a return on its investment.

Yesterday th school board hired th interim superintendent at a cost of half a million dollars.  Th old superintendent is in jail for fraud. Both of these boys make more money than th president.   Byond this our schools are failin.  Vouchers will not work here.   Th University of New Mexico just fired th President, she also left with a big severance package, $450,000.  So these guys make outrageous amounts of money.  More than th president with half th responsibility n very much derelict in their duty.  Th school board will pay big bucks to outsource th hirin bcause they lack th skill.  There go our taxes.

I have forever argued in favor of hirin a local manager, n have always thought it madness to pay th salaries.  Yes education is important but not moreso than eatin or shelter.  Th kids at times have books that r ten years old, why not just shoot them, it would b more merciful.  N when they do get books, they r fat with BS.  Im sure things r different in Mass.

Our governor Rick Perry is now lookin for ways to trim th educational cost but keep th quality.  They want to shorten degree programs.  This is another thing I have always argued for.

A first grade teacher does not need to go to school for four years to teach, colors, shapes, numbers n th ABCs.  Th alphabet especially has to b taugh in order of use, in order of frequency.
e t a o i n s r h l d c/ u m f p g w y b v k x j q z  bhold th frequency alphabet!  Th first 12 letters r found in 80% of th words.  Th first letter, e is th most frequently used, n th word, the, is th most frequently use word.  I cant bgin to tell u how much paper, trees, ink, time, memory will b saved by makin a few changes.  Communication which is th primary reason for this xercise will increase speed.  Carpal tunnel will dcrease, arthritis will b less of a problem.  Books will b smaller, less xpensive.

Th digraph frequency bgins with th he an in er on re ed nd ha ......ve.  Th trigraph frequency, the and tha ent ion tio for nde has  nce tis oft ...men.  This can b reduced to th n.   Double letter frequency can also b changed to a symbol, ss ee tt ff ll mm ... oo, maybe th ss to th German beta, th double f to an f with an x.  Th point is to abbriviate th language.    And words also can b changed, the twenty most used words r, the and I to of a you that in it is yes was this but on well he have....for.   Th n u wel.

Th schools use flashcards, so x is xylophone ...... th problem is that the student will never use that word.  Then we have th problem of ex, the silent letters.  Why not just x, why not xit.  You see even though it doesnt make any difference to smart kids, it makes a difference to the not so smart.

American Heritage has a word frequency book.  English as a second language, ESL, has already listed th 1000 words that make up 80% of th english language.  If we follow th 80/20 rule, these r th words we should teach n insist our kids learn, th others should b left to them n their parents.

Cognate r another group of words that should b used for teachin Spanish.  Th words, envy/envidious/envidioso mean th same.   Th words, dolorus/dolor mean th same.  Th words gripe/gripa mean cold.

Th fact is we have yet to xploit our language to maximize th tool that it is.   British english has words that r shorter;  daughter/dawter,  Th shorter th message th less chance for error.

So u see, it is a mistake to pay th superintendent of schools $500,000 dollars when he shouldnt have had a PhD in th first place.

Th feds send money to th school districts, so why dont they insist on it being spent for education n not for administration.

Budgetin is in th dtails, so is education, u cant fix what u know nothin about.
