Arbor Day Foundation

Well Im now an official member of the Arbor Day Foundation and happy to be so, I know most people cant get xcited about a tree or a bunch of them but I do.  I am also crazy about wood, I enjoy touching it, I make up pictures while looking at the grain and the veins.  In fact just recently I found a woodasorous and have brought it back to life.   It is in the garden.

I have a "dictionary of wood", and yes I read it on occassion.  I will own in due course the following:
Beautiful Woods   by Frank Paxton Lumber Co. 4837 Jackson St. Denver, CO  80216
Know Your Woods    by Albert Constantine, 1987, ISBN  0-684-14115-9.

Anyway my initiation trees will be here in November and my sites are ready.  I live in Hardiness Zone 8 so I will receive only trees that are going to grow and I will get them just in time for planting and they will come with instructions.  How cool is that.

The good news is that now I can give all of you a member ship for your birthday and you can plant a tree also.

Now most of you know that the only reward for planting trees is to make the world a better place to live, they make oxygen, they consume CO2.  They provide shade and a place to hide, this is probably not important to you now, but it is to kids.

As an official member of the Arbor Day Foundation and self appointed spokesperson, I now bring your attention to Nebraska  ..... obviously a red state.  Because if you buy a tree in Nebraska even from the Arbor Day Foundation .... you must pay a tax.   What kind of low life governor and people live in Nebraska ..... how mental are they.   They will tax the air we breath, the shade we play under.   What kind of Mormons live in Nebraska, (sorry I meant morons).  Bite the hand that feeds you.  Is any body embarrassed for these people.

And those of you with political ambition this would probably be a good organization to join, very bipartisan, very necessary and no New Orleans you will not be getting trees.

Do you know we can probably harvest a crop of bamboo trees every three months, and we can start with New Orleans, add a few panda bears, the sky is the limit.
