The helicopter xperimental is on the list of budget goodies for the DOD, $100 million dollars a piece!  It weights 15 tons, it carries 37 passengers.  Now this monstrosity may be the latest thing, but it is to big, and this will make it an easy target.  Anyone with a shoulder held rocket, or a high caliber weapon will be able to bring it down.  It does fly at 200 miles per hour ...... but $100 million dollars.  $100 million is $1 BILLION dollars and it isnt bullet proff, not guaranteed for life, it isnt stealth, and it cost more than a stealth bomber.  

The department of defense is getting 600 of them.  So forget getting a job, sending your kids to college, better economy.  Forget medicare, social security, works-men comp, meals on wheels, there wont be any money.  It will put us into an inflationary spin.  Oh and we still have cost over-runs, and defects to pay for.

The passengers all 37 are not troops, troops are heavier because of the equipment, so the troop capacity is reduced.  Robotic assist troops are heavier still, the metal exoskeleton and the 300 or 400 pounds they will carry will reduce the capacity even more.  If we can get the troops to be faster with the robotics, they wont need a helicopter, and the troops are stealth ..... so watch out America.  Xpect a lot of calls from those bill collectors.
