Healthcare cost

Two words, but what is healthcare, where does it come from, the lexicon definition, the one in the dictionary, is committed to memory by many in the business.  Good luck with that, it will not help you understand the problem n the bean counters dont care about health, they care about money.

Today I will start with pregnancy, as most of u know when a man n a women couple, there is a good chance that one of them will get pregnant.
Now if this happens when the person is a teenager (OK, the woman) she will be condemned to a life of poverty.  So this is why sex education is important to kids in school, oh n abstinence does not work.  Birth-control does work, 99% of the time, yes that little pill.

We were playing scrabble, the wife, grand-daughter n I.  It was my GDs turn, she wouldnt move n bgan to cry.  "Why r u crying", I asked.  She says...."bcause I only have three letters n they spell a bad word. "Dont cry'  I said, "let me see n Im sure we can do this'.  When she turn the letters around it spelled SEX.  My wife had that panic look, I said, "thats not a bad word ..... what is your sex?"  "Im a girl she says relieved", puts the word in n gets her point.  We go around again, with the pressure off she spells, "PEE'.  'Your mind is in the gutter', she smiled bcause she understood that their r no such things as bad words, only bad people.


So why do all these republicans want to appease the religious right, n not pay for prevention, for abortion, for education? Why do they insist on telling the parent?  They want to know when their daughter is pregnant but not when their son did the deed.  They want the woman to look at sonograms n to have a probe inserted (ouch).  They dont want their sons to get condoms.  They prefer pregnancy over abortion, disease over condoms, dysfunctional family over a second chance.  They prefer godly over justice.  pregnancy over vasectomy.  

Child bearing is not a disease, it is a natural phenomena. It is ill advised for children to bear children bcause the cost r both monetary n social.  So why do we insist on having doctors for this?

Someone we all know n love just recently had a baby out of wedlock.  Luckily, her parents r able to afford the cost n will not abandon the child. In our own case, we suggested marriage, later paid for the divorce n still bear the emotional cost.

But people do abandon their newborns, they r found in dumpsters.  They can b left in a hospital or firehouse without questions. Some women go crazy n have been know to cut out somebodies baby with a key.

If u go to the hospital for parturition, u will get a c-section.  They will cut the baby out with a knife.  As u know this birthing does not take place without a little pain.  So we have a little thing called an epidural, this is the pain shot.  It cost about $500.00 in advanced.  People think it isnt right to allow the pain of child bearing, they want it to b a happy pain free xperience.  The doctor will not administer the epidural without the money, so if u dont prepare u have to run  fix the problem.

The c-section is done for the doctors convenience. The doctor does not want to lose sleep over u.  If he leaves n u deliver, he doesnt get to bill for the surgery, the nurse will deliver u.  The doctor wants to b called 15 minutes prior.  They can induce or augment u with medication but it is not as convenient as c-section.

In Africa they had a flood once, a pregnant women climbed up a tree, she delivered her own baby, this done the helicopter lifted her to dry land, she took off baby in tow.  Now this would never work in the US, they need a doctor, a c-section, an epidural an episiotomy,  a sterile field, n a lactation nurse.  They need formula, pampers n odds n ends.

The African women could b called primitive .... but she wont pay thousands of dollars.  U could argue she doesnt have the money, but neither do u.  That is why primacy should b given to healthcare, to Obama care, to any kind of care.

On the border illegals come to deliver so they can get citizenship, no that is not true, they get money.  Social Security for the baby.  This is a big deal.  In one case an illegal would have a baby every year, every year she would get a raise from social security.  Finally it ended up in the courts with social security asking for relief.  The judge deported her, she had the option of taking the children or leaving them.  They qualify for housing, social security, medical care, food stamps.  And who pays for it?

I've had moms who had as many as twenty children .... n brag about it.  They consider themselves better women, better than the rest.  Im sure they will want student loans, health care, food stamps, vaccinations.  Who pays for this?  This cost much more than abortion .... republicans.

What if a family could only get social security for only two kids, only student loans for two kids.  Find the father n garnish his wages.

U dont want Obama care, socialized medicine, its to late, we already have it.  Yes they have the right to privacy, to do with their bodies what they wish (get another tattoo) but what if any responsibilities do they have.  The rest of us have rights n responsibilities .....
