Medications

In case you dont know we are a nation of medications.  We take a lot of drugs.  I personally take enough to choke a horse.  If you look at the profit and loss statement of the pharmacology industry you will see they make a healthy profit.  This allows them to buy politicians, the FDA, and basically do as they please.

When they come up with a new drug, they get exclusivity for seven years, so they can charge full price and after seven years they will have 50% off sales.  Now if there is no profit to be made from a drug, they will not make it even if the drug is good for people.  Some medications that have a small market are called Good Samaritans.

Money of course is the main driving force .... they get to deduct all their research cost.  And taxpayers get to pay for it, the CEOs make big bucks and golden parachutes.

The PDR is very thick and it covers lots of medications, so many that people dont know one from the other.  This includes nurses who commit medication errors about 25% of the time.  This number is covert and hospitals are not forced to display it.  Hell our national secrets are not guarded as well.

Nurses, pharmacist and doctors abuse drugs and become addicts, get caught.  We have a plan for them here in Texas, we force them to get help, then we suspend them for a year and make them go to school.  Many of them get their masters and come back with a dark cloud to lead and supervise others.

In one case James was in the program.  He was caught by Yvette doing drugs while playing dialysis nurse.  So I hope he didnt steal it from your mom or dad, but he stole it from somewhere.  When he completed the program he was given the second chance and went to work in the ER.  He would sit there and insert as many extras as he could into the billing, management loved this.  This boy was an idiot, he even put this in his resume .....bragging. These programs should be scraped.

If you look at our pain meds, we have oxycontin at $1000/month and the rest of the world has methadone at $100/month.  To make matters worse oxycontin has some hidden cost, it is use by our drug addicts, they sniff it, they steal it from their parents, they get it from drug dealers.  Then we have narcotics officers we have to pay for, drug sniffing dogs.

We do have addiction therapies that are effective, for $7000 you sleep in and your body is detoxified without withdrawals.  These are the programs that Whitney, Bobby, Charlie, Liz, Rush, the Governors daughter and rich people should go to.

Addicts in jail are a pain and all they have to say is that they do drugs and they are placed on a cocktail, to prevent any problems.  So jail nurses have over 400 patients a piece and it takes them a shift to administer meds.  Yes taxpayer, you pay for it.

Doctors are always trying to make more bucks by the prescription drug route.  The one doctor goes in and discharges the patient and writes his prescriptions, than the partner in crime goes in and writes the same prescription in generics.  This allows both of them to bill medicare.  Now the nursing staff dont read their PDR, so they issue both, instead of just giving the patient the generic which is cheaper.  And heaven help the pharmacist who substitutes.  So taxpayers pay for extra drugs the patient doesnt need and more expensive drugs, when the cheaper drug is exactly the same thing.

Doctors, those that are new to practice in America, those foreigners that come here, get drug samples that are meant for patients and they wrapped them up and ship them to their country for bucks.  So taxpayers pay for the research, dont get the samples and have to pay premium prices.

This of course can be eliminated by computers, the primary can prescribe, but the computer picks the cheapest, and shuts down the billing, the other doctor cannot make the second prescription, or bill.

In Mexico one of the thoracic surgeons uses a glue to paste the aortic aneurysm in place.  It is a very inexpensive medication, compound, but it is not available in the US because it has no profit potential, so Americans have to do with the less effective and more costly drug.

Once in the ER a patient was treated for a foreign object in the eye.  It was removed and the doctor ordered eye drops.  The drops were instilled by moi, and the remainder were left in the eye kit.  The doctor ordered me to give him the drops and I told him we cant.  You have to give him a prescription, we are not allowed to dispense drugs, that is the law.  The idiot insisted saying that the drugs were going to b discarded anyway, I refused.  A person cannot give you an order that violates the law.  When I turned around he grabbed them and gave them to the patient anyway.

It is possible to get two prescriptions from your cardiologist and when you try to fill them, the cost is beyond your means.  That's $2000.00 for a 30 day supply, and you still have to get others.  So thats why little old people have to eat dog food.

The worse case of drug abuse is among psychologist who see children and prescribe medication for hyper activity disorder.  A large part of our population, our children, take this stuff.

Then their are the foundations.  In El Paso we have an allergen that comes from the non fruit-bearing mulberry tree.  The trees have been outlawed but the old ones were grandfathered.  Come spring the asthmatics bloom and millions of dollars are spend on inhalers, doctors.

A handful of asthmatics cost the county hospital millions of dollars, the taxpayers.  You would think this would be reason enough for a reforestation program.  But our representative is to busy, he pays his niece $180,000.00 a year, and his brother another $300,000.00 a year, yes he is busy taking money to the bank.

There is a new test for allergies, it is done in the lab, and it takes one tube of blood.   The machine is loaded with the antibodies and presto in minutes all your allergies are known.  Treatment can be initiated.  However, the allergist doesnt make any money.  So it is not unusual to have you take the old test needles to the back test, manually.  They stick you a thousand times, charge you for each visit, so what if it is painful and expensive.  We all have to make a living.

Our local La Fe Clinic got millions from the tobacco companies to provide the community with anti-smoking help.  Millions $$, they invested it in Superior's telephone triage company and contracted to Centene Corp to manage it.  They are rich.  Living off the poor people.

There goal is to keep the 2nd Ward alive, for poor Mexican folk.  The clinic and the people are located next to the international bridge where millions of cars cross and spew out their toxic fumes.  Lots of baby asthmatics.

El Paso the safest city in the country.
