Counterfeit Healthcare

If I stepped into the garage n started to make money, counterfeiting, federal agents would b here in a manner of hours.  It is illegal to print your own, the penalties r very severe.  If another country started to counterfeit our money, it is an act of war.  But if corporations do it .... nobody gives a damn.  Now in the previous post, I mentioned the high cost of healthcare n how it affected the health of us all.  I made reference to Obama care n how it could provide us some relief in this area.  I also mentioned that an informed public can make better decision.

Its called cooking the books, the hospital predicts how many dollars it will lose, n uses a multiplier to increase the credit on the accounts receivable. This in turn manifest as a loss of millions of dollars in xcess of the real dollars.  In in effect they r making money, counterfeiting!  This is how they reduce their tax liability by decreasing the liability.

This is what goes on in the boardrooms n it is done with impunity.


Social Workers have some blame in this.  When the insurance company calls for the status on a patient, they first stall, n then they lie.  So that baby in the ICN who is now out of the incubator, is still claimed as being in the incubator, so there is a charge for increase equipment n increase nursing staff.  Surly u have heard of people that go to the hospital to die n get a bill for a million dollars.

Countless of patients end up in the ICU that have reason for being there n the doctors will not transfer them.  They make more money for seeing the patient in the ICU, than seeing him on the floor.  They make more money for a consultation than the admitting physicians.  There are recorded cases of patients getting coded up to 38 times, n when the nurse refuses to do it again .... they r prosecuted.

The Social Worker would not have a job for very long, if he had any ethics.  Or his needs r placed before the needs of the many.

Doctors r big in the scheme.  The patient goes to see the doctor n shows anemia, this is easy give her iron.  But instead he will send the patient to another doctor so he can make the prescription n any additional charges he can think off.  The custodians r so stupid n lacking in any basic healthcare instructions, n the doctors r so charismatic, that they allow them to do as they please.  Surly youve heard of surgeons operating on the wrong knee, the neurosurgeon operating on the wrong side of the brain  the dentist that puts the patient under, then gets a little nuki.

If you need a dentist on a Friday night, or a Saturday morning, good luck. They only work weekdays, not one f***king dentist is available in the city the size of El Paso on the weekends.  Do you know any dentists that work weekends?

Addicts love this, they use healthcare info all the time.  Late Friday afternoon, when their is no doctor in town they call n request transportation to a facility.  Now it would b cheaper to send them to a hospital down the street but they r recognized for what they r n wont b given any narcotics.  Fooling around with those controlled substances carries severe penalties, n the drug enforcement people keep an eye out.

But not the insurance companies, they get $2.50 for arranging transportation to the hospital, n they dont want anyone doing his job, especially those pesky nurses.  Just bcause they have a license they think that management cant touch them.  Now at $2.50 an hour, one would have to process 10 claims to break-even on the transportation.  He would have to do 80 claims to pay the nurse.  But if we can place the addict in a hospital, they r going to run every test n then some.  They r shameless n dont mind telling u that your raise n bonuses r the direct result of transporting addicts ..... n damnit, will fire u if u dont.

N dont think that u can report this to the Fraud guys, they will shamelessly tell u that they r not interested in one addict, they only go into action when large groups of addicts r committing fraud.  They certainly wont act if they have any stock.

So will going with Obama care help us all.  When my sister was dying in the hospital, the doctor called in a psychiatrist, she couldnt even talk or eat, but the idiot prescribed an antidepressant.  When I confronted the Dr. he said he was not Dr. Kavorkian ..... he certainly was not, that man was a saint .... we sent him to jail.

When grandma got sick, she was taken to the ER, the nurses n doctors did not know that she was in atrial fibrillation.  When old patients go into afib, they lose about 30% of their cardiac output, the prognosis is good, we give them digoxin.  But not grandma, she was given the worse drug to finish her off, the cardiologist was there for show.
