The Veterans Administration

I know a lot of veterans who feel they dont get what they were promised when they walk into a VA Hospital or Clinic.   Th fact is that th Military n th Army especially put a lot of soldiers at risk by usin them as guinea pigs.  Take th Irak war....they made soldiers take pyridiostymine.   A medication that can induce MS multiple sclerosis.
Th medication was administered to soldiers to protect them against Nerve Gas.  Nerve Gas that we know now never xisted.  It was made up by th Bush administration.  We send our laboratory personnel to Abedine where all this warfare is started, we send them back to school so they can get a PhD, then we lock them up to work on creating poisons that can kill a soldier in minutes.  So 250,000 soldiers got this drug.  Trust me when I tell u that it is bad medicine gone worse.   Hell when we started th drug, ppole, had arrhythmias, strokes, dveloped problems n had to b hospitalized.
Then we injected them with Anthrax vaccine....again this agent was never found, it was all piss poor plannin on th part of th Pentagon.
However th VA is respondin to th outcome, reacting to what is left over of a soldier when they get through with him.  They do poorly in meetin their goals, to take care of th soldier, bcause they have no standards.  Just yesterday I was lookin over a document originatin at th VA that read, 'th VA does not compensate diseases of nature, diseases of nature r not considered a result of armed conflict'.  It then gives a list of what these r; heart disease, malaria, high blood pressure, Asthma, Gout or kidney stones.'
It bcomes obvious that th person that wrote it, has poor language skills, n absolutely no knowledge of anatomy n physiology.  Even less about medicine.
1.  Gout or Kidney stones....it was intended to read, 'gout n kidney stones, but it says OR. Th fact is they will cover neither....bcasue they r 'diseases of nature'.   This means these health problems occur all th time regardless of any armed conflict.  Gout is an arthritis, it occurs when uric acid crystallizes in th joints, n 20% of these ppole will dvelope kidney stones.  Th disease does have a hereditary component....but we r talkin about a soldier, who was drafted, a young person that wouldnt know gout from snout.  Servin in an army that should inform th draftee or volunteer about his probabilities for th disease.  In th civilian world this is called informed consent n it is taken very seriously.
They dont have preemptive medicine, or healthcare....no way in hell r we goin to tell potential enlistees that there is a 35% chance that they will have gouty arthritis by th age of 30.  That their kidneys will go to hell n their life will suck.
2.  Malaria is listed....now everyone knows that if a soldier goes to a jungle environment, he can n will get malaria.  Now we do have a medication for prevention but it loses its effectiveness, the malaria mosquito undergoes a change that makes it immune to th medication.  It is unreasonable to send a soldier to a jungle combat zone n not xpect him to get malaria.   Same principle as th golf course.....if u live next to the course, it is unreasonable to xpect not to get hit by a golf ball.
3.  Diseases of Nature....what th hell is this.  These words were put together by some under-educated retired Sgt, that cant read (this is so Sarah Palin).  This concept does not xist in any medical book.  Th Army contributes to these health problems in a number of ways....dhydration, soldiers go without fluids all th time, they only carry 1.5 litters, they work in environments, like desserts, where th ambient temperature gets to 114, then they work inside a metal tank n th temperature goes up another 10 dgrees.  These soldiers have to b drinkin fluids continuously....if they want to live.  It is not uncommon for a GI to go thru th chow line n get his little pint of milk....but th damn thing is frozen.  Oh u can eat th ice but there is always hypothermia.  N they do this while standin in subfreezing weather flirtin with cold weather injury.  During th Korean war our soldiers would freeze, like statues, frozen GIs.   Now we may go back to Korea.
Asthma is on th list....I dont know if u have ever lived in the dessert but we have these things called sand storms.  In some places u can see it comin but u cant move, n th sand is so fine that it penetrates every orifice in your body.
4.  Heart disease is made worse by dhydration.  Your blood thickens n your pump has to work harder n th circulation slows down, that means clottin, that means Calcium precipitatin, in your kidneys, stones, in your eyes, in your tissues.  Army meals r not free of carbohydrates.  Then they give u xperimental drugs.

So they need a standard, one book that they can rely on, one book that has been around for a long time n has served us well, a book written by doctors for doctors, a source of medical information that can b trusted by all.   I recommend th Merck Manual.  I would also recommend that they hire college graduates, nurses, doctors, podiatrist, people that know what they r doing....n stop hiring veterans.  Sorry my brothers but u r just to stupid for some of these jobs.
