I have a key now! This is the key on my wheels and its suppose to make it hard for criminals to steal the wheels on my truck. Up until today I thought it looked more like a regular key, now I know that it looks like part of a ratchet set.
The interesting thing is that it had gone missing or was never in the truck when I bought it. So if I have a flat tire, I had no way of removing the tire and installing the good tire. Now the rims attached to the tires are very expensive and sometimes the thief steels you tire, because his are worn or because he likes your rims.
It is not unusual in America to find your car up on blocks. It isnt the car owners that steal the wheels, its the people who have access to the car that steal the Keys. The mechanic's, the car wash, the car dealership, this are the people that steal them, the owner hasnt a clue.
Obviously, our useless government doesnt know or they would have passed a law to criminalize possession of such a key unless they own the wheels requiring such a key. The criminals can usually be found in some bar, speaking in a low voice, and recruiting a team to take the tires, a conspiracy. They need a truck or RV, a driver, four guys one for each wheel, the bricks to raise the wheels, the jacks, and yes the key.
This thief's are DWI, the lookout is the sixth guy and he is on the phone. They probably have to practice like the race car mechanics. If they steal four wheels, that could be $1600 or $5000 dollars.
Im sure our police are on top of this. Flag a cop down and thank them for the great job they are doing.
