The landscape going into Laughlin (little Vegas), is not of this earth, the flora is weird and the heat is in the one teens. The local inhabitants build their homes on the high ground so they can have a view.
The city of Bullhead is on one side of the river and Laughlin on the other. I cant imagine having to live there. Hot as hell! The main street has pictures of all the dead veteran, their native sons, lots of them. And I can see why they would rather go to some far off war than remain in Bullhead.
The casinos are, especially the one I stayed in, Aquarius, was a great room. It was better than the last place I had in Vegas. The price $50 bucks, the food was excellent.
I cant get over the landscape driving in....it looks like some place in outer space, thank god i didnt see any aliens. Thats not entirely correct I did see some illegals.
Now I made a few suggestions to the management staff.
1. I suggested that instead of winning American coins, we spin for foreign coins, or stamps, or jewels. Silver coins, or maybe an hour on the jet skis.
2. that they come up with a new machines ... the three little pigs.
3. A telescope on the roof or several, the sky is very clear, and the stars look great and a telescope would give kids something to do.
4. The kids need a professional swimming instructor
before the moms teach then how to get in the pool without a flotation device. Certainly, there is a liability issue.
