Decimation

Years ago the Romans had a process for punishing their ranks, decimation.  It was used against armies, legions as they were called, when they ran from a battle.  It is a good way of maintaining dicipline and motivating people.  I think we should decimate some of our organizations, those that have failed to act in the interest of the American people.

The VA comes to mind.  What could it hurt.  Lets face it they failed to do their jobs and in the process hurt millions of our veterans, misappropriated the budget and got caught.  So what if we fire every tenth person, this would put a jump in their step.

What about GM, we get them out of financial trouble, on the verge of bankruptcy.  They failed us, now they sell cars that stop and put American lives at risk.  Decimate!  Let them feel the sting millions of Americans are experiencing.

The CDC, this organization is reponsible for keeping us from harm from biological weapons, from terrorist.  Apparently they are now the problem and not the solution.  It isnt like they are not paid well.
DECIMATE!

Anyway I think the idea has merit, you gotta hand it to those Romans they were ahead of the time.
