Norma Chavez ..... I couldnt believe how you use the picture of Alicia Sierra at the grave site of her son to get votes.  The National Cemetery at Ft. Bliss has landscape for a reason .... we have no water.  This is a desert and the water that we do have we need for the children that we do have.

You were in office for 10 years .... this war has been going on that long.  It has cost the life of Pfc Jonathan Sierra, and thousands of Veterans.  It has cost thousands of lives in the middle east.  It has cost billions of dollars almost bankrupting this country.  You were in office, you should have a very big stack of letters asking the government of Texas, and the US to bring the troops home.  Maybe had you done this, Pfc Jonathan Sierra  would still be able to share his dreams.

Instead you decided to do for yourself, to go to college, on our nickle, and get a degree in basket weaving.  You are morally bankrupt ..... you are ethically bankrupt.  To try and cash in on the death of a veteran.

Not that I think that Naomi has done the best she could, but you were a dismal failure.  Yes your father served, and so did your grandfather, and so did his friend, but we still dont have water for your delusional gardens.

How exactly do you Honor Veterans?  I was at the Central Appraisal District, trying to see why my benefit, my disability exemption was not honored, why my taxes went up, why I have an escrow deficit???  The lady said the information had been sent to the city, but could not tell me exactly who took delivery of the info.  She did know that the city was years behind in taking care of disabled vets, and I know that their is no accountability, otherwise I would not have to keep trying to get those benefits.  Otherwise I could give you credit for honoring those that fought for your freedoms.

Those benefits were legislated, so the city and state should be indicted, and those elected should be indicted for neglecting veterans.

Understand this, Ft. Bliss will never be closed .... it is very big .... 250,000 sq miles of desert and the biggest training area.

The CAD central appraisal district .... has a policeman on duty.  He says that on occasions there are altercations.  I asked him if he ever witnessed one, he said no.  I said I have never know of one, its not been in the news.  He said it would never be in the news.  He is not on duty with the police department, he is working for the CAD, not overtime.   This is obviously a waste of taxpayer dollars and one reason why my taxes are up.  I know you dont give a damn if I become homeless, so I wont bother you with those details.  Maybe if you still have a little bit of concern for veterans, you can go find out why the city doesnt honor veterans.

Open government, the windows for the supervisor at CAD are one way glass.  So people cant look in.  The police officer makes $60K a year from the city, and another $20K a year from other government entities, double dipping.  

Our local VA is the worse in the country and has been for years, so tell me again how you honor veterans.  You suck big time.   Get a job.
