Coins

I have come across two coins, French coins, aluminum coins, they feel almost plastic .... not unlike plastic.  They are post WWII, 1945, 1947.    You might remember that the French got their asses beat by the Third Reich.

The two coins were stamped for use in the African colonies.  We could presummed that if France had not been so busy with its colonies maybe it would have paid more attention to its militant neighbor and not been blown out  in a matter of days.   But that was not the reason ..... ( the dots stand for, the musical notes, tan, tan, tan), the reason was that heads of states were old and unable to make decisions.   This act of procrastination allowed the German army to xecute their plan and conquer France, also killing thousands of allied soldiers and driving the rest into the sea.  So the Brits saved the day by bringing in every ship they could muster and rescued them  ..... Dunkirk.

Now the French slogan on the coins, and every coin they make is, Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite.   Which means, that Liberty, Equality and Brother hood  is only for French..  This is ironic since a century before they guillotined the royal family and declared themselves a democracy.

There after they went on a colonizing spree.   Their colonies in africa are still that.  Now we as a nation should not complain, afterall they did help us win the revolutionary war making it possible for us to become ....  a Super power!  They also sold us the Louisiana purchase.

My last name is french, and I have visited Paris on several occassions, I was an xchange soldier, and the french did give us lots of Perrier, when we were thirsty in the dessert of Saudi Arabia.  But it never the less seems in poor taste to write their motto on the coins to be used by the colonist.

This sounds like economic aparteid.
