It is interesting to see the NBA go and get the best basketball players from around the world to come and play on the team.  Winning is everything.  And they manage to get visas right away.  They pay them in the millions so they can have the best team in the world.  Then every four years they play in the Olympics and they go back to their respective countries to play for them.  The Brits get soccer players from Mexico and come soccer Olympics, they go to their country to play.

But look at Veronica James, our best hope now for early detection of cancer.  She is short on money to continue her research.  You would think that our women, our government, would offer her 60 million dollars over 5 years and a laboratory to bring to market the testing for breast cancer.

Why cant medicare, medicaid make that kind of offer?  Why cant we have her join the Breast Cancer Team?  I mean do we have a better scientist now knocking on the door?  Will she not save us millions in health care cost?  In fact the millions she will save in cancer diagnosis will offset the 300 million dollars in the first year.

So remember when you see your wife or your mother or your sister, or girlfriend, or your daughter loosing their hair, crying, getting a breast removal ...... remember you have no one to blame but yourself.

What we need now is a full court press.
