The super committee did not work, we pay those idiots for nothing!  Here is my suggestion, cut the congress salaries by 5%, then the senate salaries by 10%.  Do this every month until they work on the budget and get it right.  They get paid on Commission, if they lower the debt 5%, they get nothing. 

Leon Panetta doesnt want a 5% or 10% cut for the DOD, thats just nonsense....After years of military service I can tell you that there many cuts that can be made that will not affect readiness, or superiority,

Just last month the people at WBAMC were caught defrauding taxpayers by giving bonuses to wives of colonels, hiring people just out of school for consulting jobs, again fraud.  This is a very big crime in the eyes of the Board of Nurse Examiners, and a reason for license revocation.  Beyond this it is a felony offense and these people need to go to jail.     These things were done with the knowledge of payroll and HR.  Now multiply this by all the bases, forts, offices. 

Hell the US govt has 100s of buildings that are empty, and could just as easily be sold.  Yes troops should be brought home, not from Germany, that was an unconditional surrender.  That country is divided into zones, the american, the british, the french, russian, canadians.  We dont have to pay them what they want or take.  The Philippine naval bases, everything gets stolen.  The Japanese bases are ours, that country surrendered unconditionally.

They dont need to have hundreads of recruiting offices in town.  The can be on base and they can be mobile.  They can have one at the reserve center.  They recruit for the Army, they lie to the enlistees and dont give them their bonuses, the Navy is a virtual place of learning, the Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard.  These people can share offices, they can have a van to pick up potential recruits and bring them to the office.  Hell the government pens were had by all. 

Our enforcement people loose about 2000 sidearms a year, laptops, who knows what else....make them pay for them. 

Get out of Afganistan .... use the drones, or just fight the taliban where they are in Pakistan.  But if you keep the soldiers there be prepared to pay for them. 

The VA waste a lot of money .... I ought to know I go there.  Hell I put in for a disabled placard and I was told the doctor has 20 days to sign the form.  Hell they leave early, esp on fridays.  When they are not busy, they should walk over to records and sign what they need to.   Or get an electronic signature and sign the documents on the internet. 

It is criminal to pay billions of dollars for a bomber, when the price of one bomber can pay the education of the nation for what it cost to get one plane.   Our subs are half empty by treaty they only carry half as many nuclear rockets. 

NASA keeps sending rockets and telescopes into deep space at a cost of Billions .... they need to do other things.  They can run those military vehicles on hydrogen fuel cells, they will go further, and faster.  They run the army washers and those on board ship with ultrasound?  They need to get rid of some ranks .... if you graph the pay of soldiers against their retirement plus the VA disability .... you will see a cluster of E7s all of which are disabled.  I can count the number of soldiers E7s and above that were worth a damn, then they let them stay on for 30 years.  

Cut the federal judges, 20 years and adios, go get a job. 

So those congressman and senators, that super committee, have a hidden agenda, and it does not include saving our democracy, or balancing our budget.  Hell our police officers all have automatic weapons in the car, why, they have never had a firefight.  The mexicans come across the river, shoot at our citizens, and no one of those automatic weapons have been fired, I bet the damn things are rusty.
