The Voters

No one likes to b told how to vote, who to vote for.  They hate it when its th enemy!  This is after all suppose to b hush-hush.  But how we vote has a lot to do with our parents...if they r republicans there is a good chance that th offspring will b a republican.  This predisposition is not genetic but proximal n cultural.

U would think that something as important as voting, giving your power to somebody else, would b a topic that would at least b touched on in school.  On public TV.

I couldnt get th image here
so try n imagine a Venn Diagram
with 3 circles
Th blu circle is democratic
Th red circle is republican
Th grn circle is independent

Th title is Americans, they r th universe n this is where we r located outside th circles.  This image represents th House of Representative.  It has 435 members elected by th various states based on population.  So Texas has 23 million citizens, n Road Island has 2.3 million, so Texas would have 23 representatives n Road Island has 1.

So today we have two parties, Democratic and Republican, th Dems r th majority n th Reps th minority.  We also have Independents, but they r so few in number that they have no control over their votes, xcept to Allie with one party or th other.

When th number of Dems equal th number of Reps, nothing gets done, this is called gridlock.  This upsets th voters who pay them a lot of money.  Th voters r for th most part middle class.  Real rich people dont vote, they bribe th party in power to get what they want.  Real poor people, dont vote bcause, that is not their priority.  In some places they pay them to vote, they drive them to th polls, n many of them r not even citizens.
Some ppole vote twice once in Texas n one in New Mexico.

Th bribes r called donations n th official does not have to b running to b given a bribe.   Th bribe is an advanced for some future vote that will favor th donee.  These officials r collectively called politicians n they lie almost constantly, they r a self serving group, that does not identify with th constituency.  Many of them r lawyers.

Our challenger this year is a Demo, th Governor is a Rep, n th state is red.  Very, Very, Red.  Now th guy that is running seems like a quiet man.  Not quite what u would xpect from a Texan.  He doesnt wear a hat, he doesnt wear Jeans, he doesnt own a horse, n if he does own guns....I dont know about it.  So he doesnt look like a Texan.  In Texas no person has been elected governor without shooting their guns.  U might recall chaney, th dick, shooting his alleged friend th lawyer.

Th guy in office is a Rep, tall, wears boots, cleans up well.  He has been in office for 25 years n he is rich.  He is a millionaire, he isnt richer than Bush, n they r not richer than Chaney.  Chaney owns Haliburton n got all those contracts that were not bid on for th war in Iraq.  He also sold bad cement to BP, it was th bad cement that broke n released millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico.  This is also th reason why u need to b careful where your fish comes from.

Now I will not vote for th Rep....I wish we had another Dem running.  Their is an independent but he is a Rep in disguise.   He is running not to win but to take votes from th Dem.  Unless th voter turn out is maximize, th Rep will probably win.

Last election, he n a buddy were speeding down th highway when a female DPS officer stop him.  Th guy that was driving knew to keep his mouth shut.  But Governor Perry got out of th car, approached that woman n said....' do U know who I am'!   Th video was going, th man was trying to intimidate th DPS officer.  Th small female told him to get back in th car.  He towered over her n she had to repeat herself.  But women still vote for him.

I suppose now would b a good time to mention that th state is 19 Billion in th hole.  I dont understand this bcause if u drive across Texas....all u see is oil wells a pumping.

By now it should b obvious that I harbor some bad feelings toward reps.  Hell when Chaney dies I will celebrate.  I hope Tom Delay goes to jail.  N I hope all th bushes get th H1N1.  We do have reps in my family....hell Im not sure my wife doesnt lean that way.   My daughter is anything but a Rep and my son has some Rep in him....I feel it.

I have voted many times as an independent I have voted for some Reps n it pains me to say this.  I voted for our lady senator, kay bailey hutchinson.  Today Im in therapy.  Th other senator Coryn is an ass.    They have a hierachy for representation.  They represent donors first, th bribes will buy u influence, then themselves, then Reps, than th illegals, then voters.
With 23 million Texans I get represented 1/12 million.   Which is a very small number.  So I may as well b disenfranchised.  Did I mention Im in Therapy.

Back to th diagram.  Th majority is 2/3 of the house, th minority is 1/3 plus 1.  Th independents r out of th loop.  Now I have know for many years that independents r th key to a better economy.   I do shiver when I see th Tea Party ppole.

Th red circle, Reps, should have 192 party members, th Dems should have 192 n th indies should have 50 (one from every state).  This would make this body more productive.
They need a few rules to make them effective.

1.no millionairs 2. no billionairs  3.  no lawyers  4.  no lobbyist.5 no economist, no financial scum 6. no felons, 7. no royalty, 8. no religious fanatics 9. no withces.

1.  What they should b; soldiers, Engineers, Math n Science graduates, Teachers, Nurses, Doctors, Pharmacist, Minorities...blacks, hispanic, asian, American Indians, women, writers, musicians, miners, police

Th indies  should run unopposed n their xpenses paid for by th old parties.  They r only their for one term.

If u really want to see th Venn Diagram, go to Gutenberg, n look up, Symbolic Logic by Lewis Carroll.

Tomorrow I vote early, than I have a doctors appointment, did I tell u Im in Therapy.
With all this, I think it is xciting, n Im honored to b an American n embrace my itty-bitty vote.   Good Luck to all.
