Veronica Escobar .... kinda rolls of the tongue.  I wish I could take my vote back and I apologize to my fellow elpasoans for any harm I've caused.

Since she been in office we have;

1.  A baseball field that we are paying for, it was a trade for the city building.  Now we have the administration scattered all over the city, people without parking.  a grass field that consumes lots of water.  A tax deficit that will break our back.  

2.  A baby hospital ....on the verge of bankruptcy, that wants to increase our taxes by $35 dollars per hundred.  I wouldnt send my kid to this hospital, what if they cant afford the medications, the special diet, the equipment, housekeeping.  can anyone guarantee that the care provided meets any standard.

3.  A new county manager, making big bucks and now a new department .... this will cost us another $35 dollars per 100.

4.  An urban sprawl that is out of control .... we have no water and what water we do have now has to travel further and to more people.  To add to this our ambient temperature is going up .... an entire month of temps in the triple digits.  This mean an increase in the cost of energy, higher bills.  

5.  A large number of illegal immigrants, orphans, bringing us diseases we are not use to.  They need a new building so they can live comfortably.

6 We have a taxing entity, the central appraisal agency.  That says that you must renew your exemptions annually.  I have a 100% disability from Social Security and a 60% disability from the VA and the Texas Veterans Commission says I have these benefits and that department is working outside the law.
