Texas Tech is a drain on taxpayers, with all the universities in San Antonio, they are putting up their own campus, they have one in Houston, one in Lubbock, one in El Paso, one in Dallas, one in Ft Worth, and they probably have one in Oklahoma.
Why would Texas Tech give a shit about clinics and poor people? They dont, what they want is money. You see people with insurance dont want to go to Thomason and mix with the poor, the riff raff, the diseased, the mexicans. So Texas Tech will go to them.
At the new clinics away from those lousy mexicans, they can take care of private pay patients, and bill their insurance. They are allowed to bill private pay patients.
It doesnt matter that they are on the state payroll, that they are using taxpayer clinics, equipment, staff. It only matters that they can bill private pay patients with insurance, so they can get money on top of the already very generous salaries they get, not to mention the very nice retirement package they will get when they leave.
Needless to say this is fraud and illegal to me, but Im not a lawyer, judge, havent been to law school. Im not an FBI agent. Thank goodness Im not a mayor or city council rep, otherwise I would be involved in this conspiracy to take the peoples hard earned money ......
Why do we even have an FBI? I mean they have a unit in El Paso that is designated for medicare and medicaid fraud. Well obviously they cant catch a few terrorist, why should they be able to catch anything else.
