My Vote

My vote is a unit of power.  When I give this vote I do so hoping that the person I have empowered is a person of integrity that is looking out for my interest.  I realize that other people do the same and that I am not the most important issue worthy of consideration, I realize that compromise is necessary.  But there are some things that I will not compromise on; an example is the 2nd Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.  I know that many Americans dont believe in guns, handguns, and I can understand that many circumstances will mitigate those beliefs.  But I will not compromise on this .... it is my right to defend my home, my family, my property .... from those criminal and nefarious animals that prey on us.  And I dont feel that I should wait on them to act before I do.  Down the street lives a sex predator, I know this, the state sends me the info.  They send this info so that I can be proactive .... so if this predator sets foot on my property, I will shoot to kill, if he doesnt set foot on my property but my intuition warms me of any bad intentions he might have   focused on my family, I will act with due violence.


Law enforcement does the same thing, if a crime is committed, they bring in those felons that have historically done harm for questioning.  They dont go wasting their time searching for smoke where there isnt any.  They profile .... they do this because it makes perfect sense.


Now I have a political pamphlet from congressman Reyes asking for my vote.  I havnt voted for him because he has always been unopposed.  I just cant see voting for anyone that is a shoe-in. Today he has five opponents all democrats.  He is for our economy?  So am I!  I dont understand why I have to support the oil barons by paying inflated prices for gasoline, oil, .... because they are greedy bastards.  I dont understand why Americans want gas guzzling cars and trucks.  The city buses run on natural gas .... because its cheaper, cleaner fuel.  The price is stable.  Makes sense.  Hell the taxpayers bought the auto industry .... what have they done for us?  We can run cars on natural gas, for half the price of oil.  There is no need to fight Iran for the Persian Gulf, there is no need to buy oil from the despots, there is no need to have drunk captains run their oil aground and destroy our wildlife and peoples way of life.  So Mr. Reyes adios.


Our children s education?  Our schools are a joke.  Our children cant read, they cant add, they dont know science.   Our children are taught by coaches, they all want to be stars, we pay so they can play baseball, basketball, football, golf, .....the list is long.  So Mr. Reyes adios.  I have no pictures of you reading a book, no library behind you.  What publications do you subscribe to?


Our veterans:  We have the worse VA in the country!


Our border to the south;  Mexico has no government, it is run by the cartels, by terrorist.  Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are on the line.


NASA invented Aerogel,  this insulation was designed for spacewalks and protects our astronauts from frost bite.  It protects their feet against temperatures of minus 106 degrees below zero, and temperatures above 72 degrees.  These insoles are assembled in mexico?????  They are not available to veterans through the VA.   They are not available to diabetic patients through the ADA????  They are not available to our podiatrist.  They are not available to our armed forces????   The product has been licensed to a greedy bastard ..... and you know nothing about it????  Adios, para siempre adios!!!!
